Product photography

March 23, 2020

How many times has a great product photo enticed you to visit a website – right in the middle of your scroll through social media or the internet?  If you’re anything like me it happens when you least expect it, and usually when the image really catches your eye because it’s colourful, has a uniqueness, or conjures up a scene.

It’s well known that “a picture tells a thousand words”.  We are very visual. When you looked at this blog did you see the words first or the images?

Product photography is one of the most powerful tools in selling your goods. And with the challenges our world is facing at the moment, many businesses are ramping up online.  They’re advertising online and selling online.

So I’m now offering small business lifestyle product photography.

I generally visit businesses but I now have a new option – drop your products off at my studio (which is small and clean) and I will photograph them and have them ready for you to pick up at a time convenient to you. All photos will be available within a week, formatted for you to load straight onto your website or social media.

I can take single or multiple images of each product, with alternate views giving shoppers more information when they’re not touching, smelling, trying on…

What do you think? In this challenging period for small businesses, is it time to make the move online, or revamp your online image?Mary Thompson Product Photography Mary Thompson Product Photography Mary Thompson Product Photography Mary Thompson Product Photography
